What hotels will participants be staying in?

The Forum will be hosted at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, where many of the Forum participants will also be staying, however, there are other more budget friendly options in close proximity to the Forum venue. Please refer to the Travel Guidance section on the Better Future Forum website for more information.

What time will the Forum finish on 14 May?

We anticipate that formal programming for the Forum will finish by 4pm local time.

Who will be attending the Forum?

The Forum will bring together global and regional education leaders from across the broader ecosystem, together with visionary leaders from local contexts who are at the forefront of reshaping education. The 200 participants convened include students, educators, researchers, non-state actors, policymakers, philanthropists, and thought leaders, representing a diversity of perspectives and experiences from all levels of education systems.

How can I view other participant profiles:

Registered Forum participants are welcome to view participant profiles by using the email and password created during their registration process. If you are having trouble accessing the protected participant page, please reach out to globalevents@teachforall.org to help recover your log-in information. Please note that participant information will be available shortly after registration closes, likely in early March.

How did you come up with the session topics for the Forum?

The programme design and session topics for the 2026 Better Future Forum are informed from a variety of sources, namely the learning agenda and insights emerging from the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future and its partners, as well as participant feedback from the inaugural 2025 Forum.

The programmatic approach this year will also be informed by the latest thinking of current 2026 participants via their responses to the following question included in this year’s registration form: When you think about developing students holistically to shape a better future, what are the most pressing questions or themes we must address?

Integrated into the design of the Forum are also a number of open spaces meant to provide additional room for questions and topics that participants are interested in bringing to the group, but that may have been overlooked or not yet been addressed as part of the formal programming.

What is the dress code for the Forum?

The suggested dress code is business casual. However, we encourage participants to wear whatever makes them feel most comfortable. In the past, some participants have also chosen to wear traditional clothes from their context to reflect the diversity of cultures represented.

I am nursing. Can arrangements be made to accommodate me?

Please make a note in the Personal Requirements and Accommodations section at the end of the registration process that you are nursing, and let us know any other specific requirements (for example a crib, refrigerator, etc.) that can help us to make your stay more comfortable. We will also arrange for nursing rooms at the conference location or ensure that you have a hotel room in the conference venue.

I have special dietary requirements. What should I do?

Please indicate your dietary requirements in the Personal Requirements and Accommodations section of the registration form.

Could you provide extra support for specific requirements for a medical condition, to practice my faith, or for other reasons?

Please indicate your requirements in the Personal Requirements and Accommodations section of the registration form. It is immensely helpful for us if you note your requirements there, so that we can ensure an inclusive, accessible event that enables all attendees to engage fully. If you wish to indicate requirements after registration has closed, please email globalevents@teachforall.org. When in Singapore, please make your requirements known to a member of Teach For All’s Global Events Team or another Teach For All staff member.

Prayer rooms will be provided at the Forum venue for all participants to use at their own discretion.

Will there be break times for prayer?

We have not planned break times at the exact times of prayer, but you should feel free to step out to pray when necessary.

What languages will be spoken at the Convening?

While English will be the language of facilitation for the Forum, we are happy to provide interpretation services for any participants requiring it. We appreciate and welcome this diversity and invite you to embrace the opportunity to communicate across linguistic differences.

Are there any cultural considerations I should be aware of when greeting other attendees?

Yes. As our participants come from many different cultural backgrounds, greetings and gestures of welcome can vary widely. While some may offer a handshake or embrace, others may prefer a bow, nod, or verbal greeting only. A smile and verbal greeting are a good way to start. Please do not assume that physical contact, such as a handshake or hug, is appropriate—particularly between people of different genders—and equally, do not be offended if your gesture is not reciprocated. You can ask if the person you are greeting is comfortable with your preferred greeting before going ahead. Respecting personal and cultural preferences helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and valued.

I have other questions—can you help?

Please refer to the Logistics Note which will be shared just ahead of the Forum—your question may be answered there. If you need assistance, please write to globalevents@teachforall.org
